How do you find a salon/Spa that does waxing?
I’ve just moved to a new city and am looking for a good place for bikini waxes. It’s not a question you can just walk up to a new coworker with. But I’m picky (understandably so, I think) and don’t want to go just anywhere. Any tips?
Perhaps I worded this badly: I know how to use a phone book. Sheesh. What I don’t know is how to find a really good place to go without, you know, friends’ recommendation. Is there something I should I be looking for? Questions I should be asking?
Go on line and type in waxing, waxing salons, etc with your local and see what you get. Also if you know the name of a waxing line, such as Satin Smooth, you could go to their web site for salons in your area that uses their products. Good luck! Remember $ doesn’t always measure a good waxer or bad, Ask questions like how long have they been waxing, have they done any waxing classes, and most important do they double dip into their wax? If yes run! This is poor sanitation and a good way to spread disease. Their wax would have to be heated at 212 degrees in order to kill bacteria and I don’t think you’ll want something that hot applied to your skin now would you? Happy waxing to ya.
